I am nine feet tall and impervious to bullets... well not really but I do build websites. My name is Tim Davis. I am a web designer/developer, public speaker, and artist working and residing in Henderson, Nevada. I create custom web designs for large DotComs, local small businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals. I am a creative thinker and I believe in fighting design crime one pixel and line of code at a time.
I develop web applications using ColdFusion and MySQL, but I primarily focus my energy towards design using HTML and CSS. This website is one of my first attempts at delivering cross browser html5/CSS3 techniques, so some features may or may not work in your (IE) browser.
I started my career as a traditional artist professionally creating custom designs for the silk screen industry. I then applied my skills through Air Brushing to make one of a kind art. Creating websites from the front side drives that creative passion, as I have always considered web development (coding) to be a very creative process. Additionally, my skills contain a history of working with Social/E-commerce/Search platform (BeyondCommerce.com), a large PPC Search engine Dot Com (kanoodle.com) and time spent with a SEO company (XtremeWebWorks) has given me insight to better design/layout practices and marketing skills obtained in the competitive Las Vegas Night Club industry. I have a comprehensive knowledge of most modern design applications like; Adobe CS4/5 Suite, animation tools like Swish and Flash and over five years of print experience from magazine, newspaper and flier advertisements.
Also I have become partners with John Squibb to create devbox, LLC. devbox2 brings together or unique skill sets to produce enterprise level websites. The first website devbox2 has created is joboxi, with many more in the development cycle.
In the spring of 2010 I became a co-manager to the Las Vegas Adobe Flash Platform User group along with Terence Carol where we hold monthly meetings.
